What is a Paint Correction in Guam?

Restore your car’s paint by removing 90% of Surface imperfections

Achieve Optimal Paint Gloss and Clarity by Eliminating Surface Imperfections

Our Level 2 paint correction detail is aimed to remove around 90% of the swirls, scratches, and imperfections from your car’s paint. This is where we perform intense cutting and polishing steps, called a 2-step correction, to get the most gloss and clarity from your vehicle's paintwork.

Depending on your condition, whether the vehicle is new or not, certain scratches won’t come all the way. It could be the scratches are too deep to remove safely or that the clear coat itself is thinning out (we’ll take paint measurements before we start).

This is where we determine what we can do to remove the scratches from your paint safely. It’s not just about removing as many imperfections. It’s also knowing when enough is enough to keep the integrity of the paint in good standing and within good working boundaries.

Yes, for newer vehicles, even just 4 months off the lot, the paint can still require a 2-step paint correction detail. Even if you've only had the vehicle for a few months, the car has traveled, been transported, and handled for many months by many people, in many different places.

It’s during this time the car has been moved, washed, transported, washed, stored, etc… There is no surprise that vehicles, regardless of make and model, leave the dealer lot with a heavy amount of swirls and imperfections.

Level 2 paint correction is a commitment you’re making to the vehicle. If you’d want to keep the shine on your paint, you have to properly maintain the vehicle after the service is complete. If you do not properly/ regularly wash and dry the vehicle, you can expect to put all those swirls and scratches back into your paint in just a few weeks.

If you’re selling or shipping your vehicle and want to prep the paint for potential buyer/ travel. Our Level 1 Paint Enhancement or premium wash is also a great option.

Paint Correction FAQs

Is a level 2 paint correction included with a ceramic coating detail?

No, a level 2 paint correction is not automatically included in a standard ceramic coating detail. The ceramic coating detail typically includes a level 1 paint correction, which addresses minor imperfections. However, if your vehicle's paint requires more extensive work or if you desire the removal of a majority of defects, a level 2 paint correction will be necessary. This additional step involves more time and effort to achieve a higher level of paint perfection. Consequently, there will be an adjustment in the overall price to account for the increased time and labor involved in providing this enhanced level of service

What is the difference between level 1 and level 2 paint correction?

A level 1 paint enhancement addresses minor imperfections, while a level 2 paint correction involves more intensive work to eliminate a majority of defects. Level 2 paint correction is recommended for those seeking a higher level of perfection.

Do you have a shop?

Yes! We offer all our paint correction and ceramic coating services at our shop location (Yigo, Guam). Depending on the condition, the amount of work, it can take 2 to 3 days to complete the service.

Will a level 2 paint correction damage my car’s clear coat?

When performed by a skilled professional, paint correction is a safe process that preserves the integrity of the clear coat. However, improper techniques or over-aggressive polishing can potentially cause damage.

What’s the difference between a wax and paint correction?

A wax does not remove any swirls or scratches from your paint. Wax is a concealer, It only hides the very light swirls.

Paint correction removes the imperfections in your paint. This is what makes the paint shine like crazy. It also takes a tremendous amount of time and energy to finish. Usually one or two full days (depending on size, condition, and desired results).
