What is a Paint Enhancement in Guam?

A great service to improve gloss and shine

Removes 60% - 75% of Surface Level Imperfections

Have you looked at your car’s paint under the sun and seen a web of swirls scratches? These are called micro-scratches (swirl marks), which setbacks your car’s gloss.

How do they get there in the first place? The biggest culprit is usually washing and drying your car improperly. Automatic car washes, using low-quality  car soaps, towels or wash mitts can all lead to abrading your car’s paint and introducing imperfections.

With our Level 1 paint enhancement, you can remove 60 to 75% of surface level imperfections to improve your car’s shine and gloss.

This is a great service for vehicles that want to restore the shine and gloss without going “ALL IN” like we do with our Level 2 paint correction.

Unlike a Wash and Wax service that can be done in just a few hours, our Level 1 polishing requires more time and energy to obtain the proper results. This is why we require you to drop off the vehicle at our shop location.

Our Paint Enhancement Process

1. Clean wheels, tires, and fenders with a variety of brushes to reach all areas.

2. Thorough hand wash vehicle including cleaning the door jambs, gas cap, and removing bugs off the front end

3. Chemically remove iron particles from your paint to prevent corrosive compounds that deteriorate your paint.

4. Clay bar your paint to remove remaining embedded dirt and debris (your paint will feel really smooth).

5. Tape off sensitive sections like the plastic trim to decrease the chance of polish buildup or staining.

6. The polish phase: Increase shine and clarity by polishing and removing the minor to medium imperfections in the paint

7. Wipe down the vehicle with a polish remover to inspect the paint and its true condition.

8. Apply protection to the paint for added shine and protection (ceramic coating)

9. Dress tires to make them shine (they’ll be dry to the touch).

10. Clean exterior glass and windows to give you crystal clear vision.

11. Touch up any detailed areas like the emblem, exhaust, grille, etc…

Depending on the size, condition, and type of paint, the time it takes can greatly differ. Two same-sized cars can get the same service but one takes 6 hours while the other takes 9 hours.

If you’re in need of complete detail on the exterior and interior, a great add-on service is our Full Interior Detail. You’ll feel like you have a brand-new car again.

Notice: This service requires you to drop off the vehicle at our shop location.

Paint Enhancement FAQs

Do you offer ceramic coatings?

Absolutely! We offer a 3, 6, and 10-year ceramic coating for all vehicles (at an additional price). You can also stay with a Ceramic spray coating at no additional cost.

How long do the results last?

This is an “it depends” kind of answer. After the paint is polished, it comes down to how well or how often you maintain the vehicle afterward. If you do not maintain or take it through a $5 car wash, you can easily get back to square one in a matter of days/weeks.

If you properly wash and dry your vehicle, you can expect the results to stay for a much longer time than compared to if you use a dirty towel and water to wash your vehicle.

Do you have a shop?

Yes! We offer all our paint correction and ceramic coating services at our shop location (Yigo, Guam). Depending on the level of work, it can take 2 to 3 days to complete the service.

What’s the difference between your Level 1 Paint enhancement and Level 2 paint correction?

Our Level 1 paint enhancement will remove 60 to 75% of the imperfections in your paint.

The Level 2 paint correction removes around 90% of the imperfections in your paint.

For most vehicles, Level 1 will be just fine. For those that really want the best results, Level 2 is your option.
